Recording Session with Kymaera in Germany in 2005

Lynieve and I met through running a course in creative songwriting together in early 2004, as a result she joined my contemporary latin band Kymaera in Summer that year recording in Germany. The result of those sessions is now available on ‘Smooth Jazz’ two wonderful versions of the Randy Crawford classics ‘Rainy Night In Georgia’ and ‘Streetlife’ plus my personal favourite ‘Nature Boy’ by Eden Ahbez. It was as a direct result of those recording sessions that the idea for Almaraya, a flamenco fusion band, came to me and with which we opened the Croydon Jazz Festival this year.
